
For Disney’s newest film-release, Encanto, DODI premiered with an interactive game across Amsterdam Centraal station. More than just a trailer or a poster, the film was introduced with its iconic characters in an interactive game.

COVID has largely impacted the way consumers travel and move around, and traditional DOOH advertising no longer has the impact that it used to have. Digital Outdoor Display Interface, as known by DODI, is our answer to this.
Transforming Amsterdam Centraal Station’s digital billboards into interactive gameplay stations, consumers were invited to scan a QR code which allowed them to play the game and get to know the protagonists of the film on their very own smartphones.

Encanto explores the concept of family with the great and diverse Madrigals, where every member lives in the same household. This means there are a lot of characters to meet!
To get to know them better, DODI will turn Encanto’s promotional poster into a mini-game that will test your reflexes to know the Madrigals.
The house is the main role in the game. Magical and full of beautiful details, the game was designed to show each part of it while people played the game.

The design of the game brings all the magic that surrounds the characters. Some visual elements were used to emphasize the magical mood of the thriller to the game. It is time to play.
